Microsoft windows distributedcom 10016 windows 7
Unfortunately I contacted level 2 tech support and was told that there was no way to go back to local account according to their resident windows expert without creating a new user and transferring the files.
So, when I got that answer and based on what the event log was showing, I decided to go back to 8. Please forgive my ignorance. Even in 8. I see exactly where you are going with that portion. Could you please expand on the last part of your information dealing with "Local, in the security policy Service".
I am a Windows illiterate who would like to learn more. Where do I change the Policies you listed? This just happened for the first time. I am an experienced user, and can find my way around, enough to know to check my Event Log.
My computer had been sitting idle for about 20 minutes other than playing music I have no power saving set, hibernation is off, no auto sleep. Suddenly the music stopped. I checked power to the computer, fearing a surge, though my UPS made no indication of that. Power was still going to the computer-the power light was on-and there was still power to the USB ports. I attempted to restart using my power button. Other subsequent events show this. With no response, no video, I finally resorted to removing power from the pc itself.
I then restarted and everything worked fine, with the exception of Windows taking longer than usual to load, though I suspect this is because of the sudden power loss, which again, the event log backs up, as a critical event was logged upon startup.
I am wary of this happening again, is there any fix? I am an Windows Insider on the slow ring, but am running Build with the latest update. Below are my specific event details:.
